ABOUT

“I come from a long line of dentists, adding to my family history by embracing the new wave of dentistry. I am a respected lecturer and researcher practicing systemic dentistry since 1994.”

As one of the only certified oral systemic and biological dentists in Los Angeles and Seattle using minimally invasive standards of practice and biomimetic dental materials, I recognize the need for a broader scope in modern dentistry.

Specializing in safe mercury filling removal, surgical repair of cavitational osteonecrosis in the jaw, proper tooth extraction, and no-drilling ozone and air abrasion, I use minimally invasive methods to help patients practice ‘preventative dentistry’ to avoid future complications altogether. I often work in teams with medical doctors to provide treatments for chronically ill patients.

I did my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, and obtained my degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery at the nationally renowned University of the Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry.

After graduating with a degree in dental surgery, I obtained further education at the New York Academy of Medicine. Throughout my dental career, I have constantly enriched my education at highly distinguished schools such as University of Southern California, San Francisco Academy for Advanced Dental Education and New York University.

As a pioneer in Minimally-Invasive Oral-Systemic Dentistry, I specialize in state-of-the-art general and esthetic dentistry. I use an integrative approach which combines conventional and natural methods. I am licensed to practice dentistry in the states of California and Washington, and maintain dental offices in both Los Angeles and Seattle.

I am a member of a variety of well-known American and international dental organizations including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Western Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition, I am proud to also be a member of several distinguished cutting-edge organizations devoted to the development of new standards of practice in dentistry, including the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine, the International College of Acupuncture and Electro-Therapeutics, and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. I have been a frequent lecturer at the events organized by the Cancer Control Society and Academy of Neurology, as well as at numerous other symposia and conferences nationwide. I have also been actively involved in outreach programs and mission work in West and South Africa.

My purpose in life is to bring the best dental care possible to my patients, and to do my part in establishing new standards of practice in my profession that are minimally invasive and more effective in preventing tooth decline and gum disease in order to promote the overall well-being of all patients.
